Interlake Mecalux Selective Pallet Racking:
Combining vertical frames with horizontal load beams, Interlake Mecalux selective pallet rack provides total access to every SKU of product. Selective pallet racking is the most popular style of racking system in the industry and has a flexible and durable desing. Perfect for warehouses with a wide variety of product types. It is manufactueredd from high strength steel and other quality raw materials and RMI certified to meet all industry standards. Interlake Mecalux selective racking system will provide an efficient use of floor space, load flexibility, and easy reprofiling. This is possible due to the extensive range of frame pieces and accessory components. The standard frames come in two powder coated finishes of vista green or Mecalux blue. Additional colors may be available for extra cost. The standard frame consists of two posts with horizontal and diagonal struts and a foot plate welded on the bottom. These frames come with teardrop punching on 2″ centers. Roll form beams are the horizontal component of the rack where loads are placed. These connect to the frame at various heights to meet your application. These pallet rack beams are available in various lengths and widths to meet your capacity requirements. You also have the option for slotted or unslotted beams. Slotted beams can be used with roll in pallet supports. Both are designed to work with wire decking. Interlake Mecalux Drive In and Drive Thru Pallet Racking System:
The Drive-In/Drive-Thru system is ideal for storing homogeneous products with a large number of pallets per SKU. The Drive-In / Drive-Thru system maximizes the use of space within a warehouse, storing up to 75 percent more pallets than standard pallet rack. Products stored in a loading lane should have the same SKU to avoid unnecessary pallet handling.
With the load raised slightly above the level on which it is to be deposited, forklifts enter the system and deposit pallets on support rails. This action is repeated at various levels. This system offers a highly dense storage option. The depth of each lane will depend on the number of pallets per SKU, the occupied space and the length of time they will be stored. The Drive-In/Drive-Thru Pallet Rack system is highly customizable. Interlake Mecalux Pushback Pallet Racking System:
This dynamic system allows for greater cube utilization by providing a dense storage solution. Pushback works by using a series of nesting carts for each pallet position, which allows one pick face for multiple pallets. When a product is loaded, it sets on the top nesting cart. When the next pallet is introduced to the system, it pushes the first pallet back using the first nesting cart with wheels and lands the second pallet on the second nesting cart. Standard systems can handle up to 5 positions deep of storage per pick face. This provides selectivity while having dense storage and keeps the forklift operator from driving into the system. This racking works on the Last-In First-Out (LIFO) basis and is perfect for operations with multiple pallets per SKU.
